200 Richmond Stories

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Richmond Bicentenary is an opportunity for the community to better understand the districts’ past, people, and productivity. 200 Richmond Stories seeks to identify and describe lesser-known aspects of our development that deserve wider respect and recognition.

We’re keen to consider these stories from personal perspectives – accounts as told by our community members – directly by the person, within historical records, and as descendants’ recollections.

Please consider people, past and present, whose stories should be told and shared. Your suggestions are very welcome and encouraged.
