Be part of history at the official launch of the Richmond Bicentenary, a commemoration of the 200th anniversary of laying the foundation stone of historic Richmond Bridge. The Bicentenary Launch will feature formal speeches by dignitaries and guests, a formal acknowledgement of the Mumirimina people and country, and a performance by a children’s choir. The event will also include the arrival of the Bridge Street Parade – a spectacular display of music and costumes from the past 200 years, accompanied by the Clarence City Band.
Food vans will be available at the Richmond Recreation Reserve and Richmond Village Green from 12pm to 4pm.
